After playing comic roles for a while, Vadivelu will return in the title role in Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikesi. The sequel started rolling from yesterday and on this occasion, the motion poster was also unveiled.
Parvathy Omanakuttan of Billa 2 fame has been roped into essay the female lead opposite Vadivelu, which will have music by Ghibran. Nirav Shah's former assistant Saravanan will be the cinematographer and the National Award-winning editor Vivek Harshan and art director T Muthuraj are also on board.
This film will be set in the same universe as the first one and will be as funny as that film. The makers are confident about the film and are hoping that the collections of Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikesi will be even more than the record made by its prequel-Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikesi.
On the other side, Shankar and Lyca Productions are also producing Sci-Fi drama ‘2.0’ starring Superkanth Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 25th January 2018.
